Eisele Vineyard
- The Vineyard The Eisele Vineyard
is in the Chiles Valley, on the North East corner of the Napa
Valley. Dick Stark began making wines from the Eisele Vineyard
in 1977 and continued making these wines until 1991.
- The Style This vineyard has produced
some of the most balanced and rich wines that Page Mill has ever
made. Year after year, the mountain vineyard with cool nights
created a wine with depth and complexity that transcended the
bad vintages. Dick harvested just before the rains in 1989, and
although the wine buyers on the East coast wouldn't taste it,
the vintage was atypical, with beautiful fruit and exquisite balance.
