- The Vinyeards These grapes come
from several sources. Bien Nacido to the south, Stuhlmuller to
the north, and three vineyards around the old winery location
in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
- The Style This is our "Crowd Pleaser"
Chardonnay, with round full fruit, and a clean but not overly-dry
finish. The wine is an amalgamation or our best Chardonnay Vineyards.
From Alexander Valley to the north, through the Santa Cruz Mountains,
to Santa Barbara in the south.
- Tasting Notes On Our Chardonnay, California
Vintage 2005
This Chardonnay is a traditional French Style chardonnay with
a dry finish and limited oak use. With soft fruit in the front
and a hint of oak on the mid palate, this Chardonnay is round
and rich with a soft, creamed butter through the finish and medium
acids.
